John David Shackelford in my opinion is the best mixed martial arts coach in the tri-state area! This gym is so much more than just a place to get in shape and learn self-defense and get to the next level as a fighter or Jiu-Jitsu practitioner it is a Brotherhood of great people! I always have a great time when I go and love people I train with!
I went for a trial run this week. It's a great place. The staff is friendly and it was great working out with a group that was working for the same goals! Motivation is in the air and you are not judged by what you can't do, just encouraged to push to do your best. Would highly recommend.
Last night was my first night a Shackelford's Mixed Martial Arts. I was a bit intimidated walking in, but that quickly changed. The staff and other students were very friendly and helpful. Great experience.

I can honestly say that it doesn’t matter if your a pro or a complete beginner (like myself), everyone is made to feel welcome here!
