Shall we discuss the elephant in the room? Kids Martial Arts Classes can be EXPENSIVE! How do you, as a parent, decide if Kids Martial Arts is worth it?
One of the first things parents want to know is- “How much is it?” Followed closely by- “and how many classes is that for?”
I argue that’s the wrong question to ask. You’re focusing on the wrong thing. Kids Martial Arts programs are not about quantity but about QUALITY!
Before you can even begin to decide if the investment is “worth it” you have to really think about what you’re investing in.
What are you hoping to get out of the program?
Are you just looking for something to keep your child busy for a while a couple of afternoons a week?
Or, are you looking for a program that can mold your child into a successful, confident, respectful person who can handle him or herself in any situation?
How about better grades? Self-Defense in a bullying situation? Discipline? Respect? Work ethic? Focus?
If I could wave a magic wand and instantly instill these characteristics into your child, how much would that be “worth”?
How much would you be willing to pay to give your child the biggest advantage possible in life? How much to see your child grow into a productive, successful, respectful, disciplined adult?
I think you’ll agree that no price is too high to see your child grow into this type of person.
